Some amount of tan is good for your skin but, overexposure to the sun can give you an ugly tan and also can cause dark patches and blisters on your skin.

Home remedies to de-tan your skin:

METHOD 1:

 Use cucumber and tomato mask. Cucumber hydrates the skin and opens pores. It is also works as an excellent whitening agent. Tomato helps in repairing cells, treating acne, preventing excessive production of oil by the skin glands, and leaves skin glowing. 

Directions to use:

  1. Grate 1 cucumber and 1 tomato. Then, add 2 tbsp gram flour, 1 tbsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp honey and mix well.
  2. Apply this pack on your face, neck, and other areas that were exposed to the sun.
  3. Keep it on for 20 minutes; then, wash it off with cold water.

 METHOD 2:

  •         Use aloe vera gel and lemon juice to de-tan your skin. Aloe vera gel contains several compounds such as mannans and lectins. Applying it on your skin can remove dark spots. Adding few drops of lemon juice to it, will give glowing skin in weeks.

Directions to use:

  1.      Squeeze fresh aloe vera juice from 3-4 leaves, and mix the lemon juice with it.
  2.      Apply this mask on the tanned areas of your skin.
  3.      Let it dry for 20 minutes; then, wash it off with cold water.
